Lucky Ducky scent reviews!

Since it's going to take me forever to review everything I bought as part of the "kid in a scent candy store" $100 Lucky Ducky order and work is crazy for me right now, I'm going to try to review a few scents per day. I'm reviewing these scents as 8 ml EDPs.

BIOLAGE (Matrix type); This scent comes pretty darn close to the much sought after Victoria’s Secret Exotic Bouquet fragrance that has been sadly discontinued. Top notes of forest fresh green leaves and lemon zests, and well rounded with fruity notes of peaches, apples, and pineapples. A very fresh fragrance that will entice and energize your day.

This scent is just a hair too sweet for me to really like it. I was hoping for something a little more on the lemon zest/pineapple side than the peach/apple side. It also reminds me of the scents you get in a mid-range to upscale hair salon. Something about all the different fruit scents mingling together, I think.

DELICES DE CARTIER (type): Tempting and provocative. A fruity fragrance with iced cherry, bergamot, and pink pepper. This is a modern floral signature from an abstraction of golden jasmine. You'll smell like a million bucks.

The last sentence isn't kidding. This is a very "old money" scent. Very upscale, very sophisticated. The fruit scents are more rich and exotic than sweet, and the pink peppercorn adds just enough spice. The floral is definitely present, but not overpowering. It's a bit too "grown up" for me to wear on a daily basis, but it will be perfect for those nights when I want to feel fancy and oh-so-pretty.

FALLING IN LOVE: (Philosophy Type) This intricate scent is a blend of sweet vanilla top notes, with a floral heart and a blackberry musk base with a touch of amber. Sweet and sexy at the same time!

I like this one a lot. The blackberry musk is the most prevalent scent, but you can also smell the vanilla and amber. It's richer than I expected and not sweet, which I like.

RASPBERRY ROSE: Fresh flowers and fresh fruit... this is as good of a combination as you will find anywhere. Downright addicting!

This smells like a 50/50 blend of raspberry and rose. The raspberry tones down the heaviness of the rose scent, so you get the rich fruit scent and the scent of fresh rose petals. I like it. It doesn't have the tangy notes of Pomegranate and Rosewater, but it's along the same lines. It's a fresh, pretty scent that's great for when you want to be a girly girl.

FLOWERBOMB: (Viktor & Rolf type) This perfume is not just an explosion of flowers! With notes of tea, bergamot, sambac jasmine, orange tree, catleya orchid, freesia, rose, and amber, musk, and patchouli. Just one sniff and KA-BLOOM!!

This is a rare scent indeed. It got me a rare "Wow, that smells really GOOD!" from Mr. AG. I'm afraid I overdid the scent a bit on first wearing, so it was a bit too intense for me, but a lighter hand on the applicator should see me all right. It's a very well-blended scent, with enough base ingredients to anchor the floral notes so you don't smell like you rubbed yourself all over a florist's display.

Stay tuned for more, as I work my way through the bulk of my scent wish list.
